The Premedical and Health Professions advisory program exists to assist all Grove City College students planning to enter a health profession: medical school, osteopathy, dentistry, optometry, physician's assistant programs, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, veterinary medicine, or others. Upon declaring interest in the premedical/pre-health program, each student is assigned a faculty advisor from the pre-medical/pre-health advisory team. This faculty member serves as the student's principle advisor and can provide guidance on course selection, fulfillment of pre-requisites, internships, career choice, and the application process. All students are free to consult any member of the advisory team to take advantage of their diverse experience and expertise.

We also provide information on the application process, hold pre-health planning meetings, organize health professions school conferences, and arrange on-campus visits by health schools and armed service programs.

Most years about 30 of our graduates are accepted into health professional schools. The majority attend a school of medicine, either allopathic or osteopathic, while the rest are distributed over nearly all the health professions.  The large size of our program and the success of our students attests to the high quality of our pre-medical and pre-health professions programs.
