Cleat...

Our cleat may look similar to those of other pedals that are thrust in the face of you, the consumer, and there is a good reason for that. It IS similar to other cleats. It fits in any standard SPD compatible shoe's cleat pocket. It uses the standard SPD mounting screw spacing.  However, that does not mean that our cleat is not special - It just means that you need to understand a little bit more about the cleat to appreciate it's uniqueness. Our cleat is made from stainless steel: No rust, high strength. It simply can't be beat. It is also parametrically driven by our model. What this confusing terminology means to you is that it is easy for us to come up with new cleat designs, giving us the ability to offer various release angles and various amounts of float tension simply by changing a few numbers. More options means a more versatile and user-friendly pedal.
